Letters, Lists, Essays, Notes and Quotes

A selection of writing across forms and intentions, some resolved, some unfinished, some unpolished, some still unfurling.

This is a place for writing that sits adjacent to my wider practice. At times it is integral to studio work, fieldwork, the moment of exhibition, the anticipation beforehand, or reflection afterwards. At other times it moves more freely, occupying a boundary where what is public and what is private is not always fixed. I resist the temptation to use writing simply as explanation. Instead, it can become a way of discovering, of staying with something, of following a line of thought, feeling or attention as it forms. Some of these texts sit thematically adjacent to the work I am pursuing. Others share more in form, tempo or atmosphere than in subject. Together, they make up a textual landscape that runs alongside the practice, sometimes close, sometimes further out.
