CSM Interim Show Spring 2026
Three works, three approaches, one shared concern: how we orient when familiar anchors recede.
Presented at the Central Saint Martins Postgraduate Interim Show at Granary Square, King’s Cross, this project brought together installation, moving image, and writing. Metanoia is an installation in plywood, acrylic, mirror, and LED that confronts the viewer with a question of agency in the act of searching. Horizon Datum is a six-minute film made on the south coast during spring 2026, using the horizon as a perceptual and reflective device. 28 Letters, Lists, Essays, Notes and Quotes on Silence, Absence and Orientation presents a selection of writings that sit alongside the visual works, extending their concerns through text.
Taken together, these works explore attention, uncertainty, and the conditions under which meaning begins to coalesce. Each work withholds easy resolution, asking the viewer or reader to decide how to remain present within an encounter that does not fully explain itself.
